We have recently upgraded both of our cutting heads to the new KMT Waterjet IDE™ (Integrated Diamond Eductor) this means a higher quality finish on materials up to 200mm thick, a reduction on maintenance downtime and a dramatic saving in standard consumable parts making our process more cost efficient to our customers.

Long performance of the diamond orifice delivers a more consistent stream for a longer amount of time, extending tube life and providing a better, much more consistent edge to reduce scrap and eliminate waste.

ide-diamondWaterjet cutting performance with diamonds is far superior to waterjet cutting with rubies. Longer waterjet orifice life means more consistent precision cutting and more ‘uptime’, with fewer orifice changes. The integrated design is based on a “coalescing plenum” for an effective and efficient mixing of water and abrasive. The design minimizes jet stream disruption for maximum energy in the waterjet cutting stream.

Quality is important to all manufacturers, we emphasize quality throughout each step of our manufacturing process. We also strive to be as efficient as possible so we can offer a competitive price to our customers. We work to a general tolerance of +/- 0.3mm but can be closer if your application requires it.

With the aid of automatic nesting the waste of expensive materials such as Titanium is minimised passing on reduced costs to our customers and saving time during the cutting process. From a customer drawing to the program ready for cutting can be achieved in only a few minutes.
